First-time Wingsurfing Buyer’s Guide with Robby Naish
Kitesurfing Magazine test editor, Shane Thompson, is here at the AWSI show at the Naish booth with legendary kite surfer, Robby Naish. Winging is the next big trend in the sport and many people are curious about how to get started, especially families. The good news is, you don’t need a lot of gear to begin. A board big enough to float you and your family is the main thing, usually between 85-110 liters. A 75-85 cm mast and a 1650cm foil will work for everyone, regardless of size. Get a couple of wings depending on the area and you’re ready to go. With Robbie’s advice, starting your kite surfing journey is easy and accessible for the whole family.”
